Chickenshack, founded in 1994 is a housing co-op based in North Wales. It has a long standing commitment to permaculture design and has hosted many related courses, gatherings and events there since then. I am a founding member and this is my blog of some of what I have learned along the way.
The Chickenshack permaculture Blog says an official hello to Lila Cosserat - Horner , her parents started their relationship at a chickenshack party i do believe, and here is the resulting pink blob... and a very fine one it is too, lots of love to you three... XXX

I am interested in sustainable development, natural history and becoming more interested in gardening and sustainable agriculture. Not all serious! I am into humour, music and drama. I am also run a small webhosting service for community and sustainable orientated sites and occasional. I have recently got very involved with the Llanfyllin Workhouse project and am working on their fund raising team My home has been a small hill farm and housing co-op in Wales since 1994. Before that i have spent some years abroad mainly east Africa, Zimbabwe, India, Canada and the States. I was born in Wolverhampton, and grew up on a farm in Shropshire.
